I dont think so but it Depends on the bloke fitting them... Plenty of people have larger tyres fitted to standard rims. I've seen some shops. Putting 12.5 "wide tyres on 7" wide rims. Not always a good idea but people still do it.

I've got wider rims 15"x 8.5 " width with an extra 25mm offset width and run 33's but then others will advise against this as it can cause its own issues over time.

Another 'No' here to. 265's wil go on Defender Rims. I'm running 285's on my 130 but have wider alloys. Simon.

265/75/16 is a standard Defender tyre size. 235/85/16 and 265/75/16 have exactly the same rolling diameter and are both LRA approved sizes for waranty purposes.

On the rims, Landcruisers have a 5.5" PCD and Land Rover have a 6.5" PCD on the bolt holes.
