I have purchased a set of 3 guages, oil pressure, water temp and turbo boost . SAAS for those who want to know. I have searched the forum but cant find info on the best sender points to connect these guages up to. Would appreciate any pics or links to tutorials. I'll post up the finished product when done.

Are they mechanical or electronic gauges?

theyre mechanical. water temp is fairly easy but if I disconnect existing sender is it going to upset the ecu? boost is also reasonably simple but unsure best position to tee into. getting to the oil pressure sender under the turbo scares me, but again if I disconnect the existing sender will it upset the ecu?
the water and oil pressure are electronic ...I guess ....using senders to anologue guages....

Disconecting the wires from the sender units with the ignition off won't hurt the ECU.
Turning the ignition on with them unpluged may.

If your under your turbo to do the oil sender take a little longer and check the little coolant hose that hides nearby.

Cheers, Kyle.

g'day ramblingboy

For my boost connection i put a T between the intercooler and wastegate solenoid. However it did induce a kink in the rubber tube below the T so I re did the job replacing the tube with a longer piece and putting in a tension relieving loop. The end held by the pliers goes onto the intercooler pipe - goodluck

more info .....

Here's a photo looking upwards past the lower intercooler pipe to the wastegate solenoid at the top. Relieving loop below the T is clearly visible.
