Hi

I'll due a 48k service on my D4 TDV6 whilst in the Sydney/Newcastle area during my travels west to east and back again in April/May.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

As it looks like you are travelling from Perth one of the potential benefits of Graeme Cooper is it is very close (5 min walk) to St Peters Railway station so you can drop the truck off and catch a train into the city (about 4 stops) for a day of wandering around if that tickles your fancy.
They also do a very good service.

Another vote for Graeme Cooper. My only problem with them is they are too far away from me now!
If you want a dealer service, I have been getting good service from Alto at St Leonards, on the north side. They too are right next to a station.
Cheers,
Jon

Still under warranty. I would go for Alto at St leonards. They have been good to me. Ask them to price match if cost is a concern.

Frank and his son at ATV Automotive in Five Dock is another good option for LR service in Sydney. They are a small family run Land Rover specialist workshop and they don't just do servicing, they are also right into off road mods.

Remember with a newish car the indies will not know about TSBs for your vehicle and the software updates for Autologic are a long way behind the LR system.
Trivett Parramatta are supposed to be ok too.

Still under warranty. I...
What I've been told by insiders at one Sydney dealer would get my post deleted under the name and shame rule.
Suffice to say if you take a car to a dealer when it is still under warranty, name every little fault (if/any) you know of and ask for a summary of any fault identified by the diagnostic computer and by mechanics undertaking the work. If it subsequently fails you have a documantary record the fault was present in the warranty period.
