Needed a bit more RAM to be running several virtual machines inside my Hyper-V server.

12Gb wasn't quite enough, so I dropped by my local PC supplier in town today and picked up 24Gb of Kingston RAM for the princely sum of $181

How cheap is RAM these days??? Couldn't believe it!

BTW - that is the price for the whole 24GB, not an additional 12Gb.....

Why on earth would you run HyperV?

It's a no-cost add on, and it works.....

I tried VM Ware, but it didn't grab me, so fell back to Hyper-V.

Wow thats pretty good. I paid ~$160 for 16gb of decent Corsair RAM a few months back.

I'm running 512 GB RAM in my machines :-) The AMD machines I have 60 cores but the Intel ones are only 28 cores.
