Thanks Mate, it only happens on this site, no problems anywhere else, when I just logged back in after a few hours away the site was frozen, hit the Ctrl-Alt-Delete and got Task manager up, said it was running, shut down Task manager and Forum was working, Regards Frank

.
Frank, FWIW I've been using Firefox for about a year now - seems a bit faster than IE and with fewer problems of the type that you are having....
It's quick & simple to download and install - quite similar to IE to use albiet with a couple of quirks

the software used here is used on thousands upon thousands of sites and there is very little different to most.
the problem mentioned can happen if using outdated versions of internet exploder, firefox, opera and or the flash plugin as they can not render some pages properly which leaves the cursor in limbo...
also when people have multiple internet security packages installed it causes issues with flash and with session cookies.

Another option would be to try Chrome.
That might be a way to at least eliminate the browser as a source of the problem. It won't cost anything to give it a try.
I've never seen the problem you describe, but I have a different OS (Ubuntu) and a different browser (Chrome) from you.

Whilst on the subject of internet problems, has anyone else here been having problems with Telstra Wireless Internet connection dropping in and out all the time, and the message Server Not Found, try again(usuallywithout success) Or Connection was Reset, try again, also usually without success ?
Numerous expensive mobile calls to Telstra have failed to fix the problem, and they rang my daughter yesterday to say they are still working on it.What does that mean? Is the fault at their end or mine?
Bill.
