I've been using the same Castrol 4 litre diff oil container as a pressure filler for diffs and transfers for about 12 years, as described in this thread;

Was giving the flagship a birthday today and I noticed some sediment in the bottom of my old faithful pressure filler container so I decided to make a new one. The diff oil I was using was in a 4 litre Nulon container, so that was the obvious choice. Nice big cap with plenty of room for the holes to accept the tyre valve and garden hose. I spent a bout 6 minutes drilling the 2 holes and inserting the hose and valve. Got under the car and began filling the rear diff.
My right ear is still ringing from the bang that came within about 5 seconds of applying pressure to the container. I can't believe my good fortune that the container split from the top down to just above the oil level (was only about 1/3 full)!
So, back to the good old Castrol bottle and after a quick clean she's ready for another 12 years of service.
