Bribie Island and Vehicle Scouting

My Nephew was having his 6th birthday, and living on Bribie Island, what better excuse do you need to go for a little trip up the Island in a series Land Rover. Being Brisbane's closest beach open to vehicle traffic, a yearly permit offers all year round fun, even if it is just a short trip to get some sand on the tyres.

So the family and I loaded up the Stage1 to head up the Island for the night.

I recieved a call the other day from Scallops, who had been passed a lead on a vehicle form our sponsors at M.R. Automotive, and had arranged to go and check the vehicle out as I was heading past the area it was in. This is what I found.

After advising the owners of it's value, I continued on to the Island.

We played "Hide and Seek" with the kids and had a good time.

I returned to the prospective vehicle on the Sunday with a helper, and am pleased to report, another one saved:D

Can't help but notice Colonel that the women in your pics look like they'd rather slit your throat then be "vehicle scouting". Did you abduct them, lie, what?

They are stuck with me. He He. And probably getting quite used to it by now.

It was a short Pitt Stop en-route to our Sub-Tropical destination. In reality I was quite well behaved, with minimal time required by them to be waiting on the side of the road.
