They're great to drive, both on and off the black stuff. (Although I don't plan on giving up the Defender for one :) ).

Saw a black 5 door yesterday on the Hume Hwy travelling north.
Still very rare to see...

Can't wait for mine to arrive!

Does anyone have any sales results on the Évoque?
I heard from a dealer that they were selling really well at launch but have slowed down?

Never.

They're selling like hot cakes so you better order your 2nd one right away ;).

Was not inferring they were selling slowly. Was just wandering what selling well equated to? 50, 100 or 500 per month?

Mine is still a while away...

There are approx 20 sitting at our local stealer's yard. They don't appear to be moving them out that fast here (inner East of Melbourne).

Is there such a thing as over styled?

Great car, mine is anyway, people just missiong out is they are sitting there unsold.

Most of the dealer stock is highly optioned making them hard to move. Ordered mine and given 4-5 month wait as stock ones were too optioned...

Styling not the issue, option list might be the challenge.

Saw a Black 5 door at Costco Canberra... Still looks awesome!

6 weeks down and who knows how long to go!

Agreed, I was in early and changed an early order to suit me. They need to discount pre-defined option which are in stock!

What have you ordered?

What have you ordered?

Si4 Pure 5 Door in Fuji White with 19" Rims + Tech Pack

All the stock cars had more than i needed. Wanted to keep options low to assist with re-sale in 3 years.

Interesting read. A US article but would be relevant...
Read the comments below for perspective though.
Think it answers my question as to how their selling.
