Points worn Rover 3.5 V8

Hi all,

I have a Series III stage 1 that is not turning over. The points have had it and I'm considering installing an electronic ignition kit under the distributor.

Can anyone give advice on the right model part and tips on installation by chance?

The simplest way is to purchase a complete electronic distributor from a '87 on RRC or Discovery, with coil and amplifier to match. Check on evilbay. You can also upgrade the Lucas amp to Bosch BIM024, an easy upgrade. All OEM parts.

Worn points won't stop an engine from turning over. Or do you mean it cranks but doesn't fire?
