For those people who are members on both forums (here and Overlander), unfortunately the Overlander forum has been hacked. The techo's are aware of this (obviously) and are working to rectify the problem. The initial hope was to have it fixed by tonight, however we may need to wait longer.
In the meantime enjoy the forum here!
Cheers

I didn't realise the Overlander forum was back up and running. Was shut down a while back - I understood permanently.
Not a good forum.

OL Forum is back.
It looks different so I assume they changed the software.

Haven't been there for a couple of years, too many Toyo and Patrol posters there and always have a smirk about Landies.

Take it with a grain of salt. The fellas give me plenty of crap, but I've been on trips with a lot of them and they secretly like the old girl :)

The best thing is to avoid being suckered into anti-LR threads - something DiscoMick hasn't yet learned. :p

That's what they want you to think, whilst they laugh behind your back;)
The only reason they want you on their trips is to have some one pull them out of trouble. Do you have a "attach buggered hilux here sticker on your bumper?";)

You're right, so I'm copying your wise example now.

The anti-LR threads and "jest" is a part of the reason why I haven't been there for so long now. Lifes to short to tolerate those types of peoples mentalities, especially if you don't need to or have to.

Yes, the in-group nastiness is waayyy over the top. The mods need to jump on certain people.

The mods are ineffective. Fixing many of the problems often generates a reaction that is a bigger problem.

I didn't appreciate it when a certain member publicly and falsely accused me of committing fraud. When I protested the mods took down the comments, but he should have been banned.
