Common practice I asked a LR dealer why they where using a toymota van instead of a defender(2 door 110 wagon) for parts delivery, reply was cheaper.

I think you will find that Nissan no longer sells vans in their line up. They used to have the Urvan and Vanette in the past. Maybe the dealer also sells Hyundais.

You would think they would have a Renault van as Renault has a large stake in Nissan but I guess the Hyundai dealer is just across the road (as is a Toyota dealer) so it was probably easier to just get a Hyundai.

Her is showing good judgement there. I have often said that the only good thing about Fiat vehicles is that they are marginally better than a Renault.

The term 'euro-trash' comes to mind.

I think you find most dealers have many franchises---nissan vans in japan had been mazda and isuzu.cant say i want a fleet of traffic vans but it would be a good idea if the brands suported their own product and demonstrated its use.
I-max/I-load is a good vehicle.it a improved mitubishi that you can drive interstate.and its the right price.
an issue is lience and automatic transmision-as these will be driven by low experience drivers.had to demonstrate the preselect trans and climate controls to first time drivers stuck in the dealers lane.
most of the dealers around here had iveco[fiat] and merc.
tarago/L300 express are used by car dealers-last employer had suzuki vans.
most of the bigger single wheel vans are chosen as you can drive with a car lience, then over load.

There is a few Hyundai dealerships in Briabane that also have the Nissan dealership too. So may be a dealership pack a bit like Land Rover and Volvo
