Me mates D3 2007 TDV6 SE has the unfortunate problem in that he can not open the Front Passenger side door .
So after all the standard resets, all the combinations of holding the exterior locK,the exterior door opener, the interior door lock, the interior door opening handle ,the Keyfob unlock, the dash unlock/lock buttons , Nothing opens the door. Now trying to remove the Passenger side inner door Trim is little difficult with the door closed ! It sound like the 4 ways of unlocking are actually trying to do there thing but the Mechanism refuses to release the door .
So how can you get the closing/latching mechanism out if it Fails ?
(No jokes about a 9n inch grinder ,please!!!)

Below is a very informative link to a thread with lots of pictures as to what is inside a D3 front door once you get the interior door card removed. As to how to remove it with the door closed, that is not so easy without destroying it.

DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - Replacing door latch / window regulator - Now with guide (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic33743.html?highlight=%2Bfront+%2Bdoor+%2Bwind ow&start=15)

The thread also describes how to remove the door card, (with the door open of course), but I have a suspicion that even with the door closed, you may be able to undo enough of the upper screws that the upper pop type retainers will let go so that you could get your hand in behind and manually unlatch the door. You may wish to disconnect the battery just so the power window does not for some reason start to move with your hands in there.

Thanks BBYER ,but theres a passegers seat in the way , and I think the problem is the actual latching system , not the unlocking or window winder systems.

Yes, the seat is the real problem. I thought about removing the seat but that just makes the job even more miserable.

What I think might work is to remove the screws that you can get at, the one behind the Land Rover logo and the one behind the door release handle. Two other screws at the bottom are pretty much impossible to remove with the seat in place but per the thread link below, there are also four other screws related to the arm rest that I presume tie the plastic to the metal behind and appear accessible.

Anyway, with the upper screws removed, and the seat back reclined as much as it will and seat as far back as possible, I think you might be able to bend back the door panel enough to get something in there like maybe your hand, or some wire thing, to catch and pull the door unlatch mechanism. Yes, the pictures were of the window bits; below is more related to the door card removal.

A dumb question - is the hidden exterior key unlock key hole on that door? I did not see any reference to it. My understanding is that the left front door, regardless of where the steering wheel is located, is where the hidden key hole is. The unlock is mechanical - just maybe it still works and will allow the either the interior or exterior door handle to function.

You are correct, the hidden key entry is on the passenger side. You need to remove the cover at the end of the handle (where a keyhole would normally be), behind it is the key entry. Read the owners manual about the emergency lock/unlock procedure.
