Maybe try another post in a different section and see if that works:confused:

And no we can't help with the lines:(

I deleted them both as they were adverts and not in the marketplace nor in the format as the forum requires.

A request for help is an advert now?

You specifically asked if anyone had parts they wanted to sell. That constitutes an advert.

Thanks for clearing this up Ron.

I will now bow out of my thread:o:):)

In the second thread I did not ask to buy anything. You deleted it because you enjoy the power being a moderator gives you. Just like you deleted my earlier joke.

Thanks for making it much harder for me to get help, you're really doing a great job keeping the spirit of this forum alive.

Have fun at your job tomorrow, punching puppies in the face.

I'm confused.. if we are allowed to ask if anyone has any parts for sale in another part of the forum why can't it be asked here?

And out of curiosity because your post confused me.. I did a search of the meaning of the word advertisement and apparently asking to buy something is not an advertisement...

Just saying.. :)

The forum owner has set the rules on how he wants the forum to be run and where adverts are to be placed.

By your reckoning, Sue, there is no such thing as a wanted ad.

Fair enough.. the owner has the right to set the rules as he see's fit regardless if we believe it to be fair or not.. and I don't have a problem with it but as I said I was just confused..

Ah.. a wanted ad.. I didn't think of that.. just the word advertisement.. although technically (and without seeing any of the previous threads this is about) I wouldn't have thought that asking if anyone has something I needed for sale in breach of the rules.. :)

Your second post was also an advert as it asked if anyone had the parts. I didn't delete your third thread on the same subject.

That "joke" was in poor taste and took a swipe at all Mods. I found it offensive and I deleted it. I could have deleted this whole thread.

It is when they ask if someone has the parts they will exchange for cash.

I treat everyone equally - I have even deleted posts made by the forum owner. I try to apply the rules equally across the forum.

if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck it usually is and i dont know how else you would classify the following.. other than it isnt a plea for help.

anyone junking a TD5 powered anything in/around Sydney and want some quick cash for these hoses?

The new price is ****ing crazy! Over $400 for 4 bits of fuel hose...as was your second effort

Does anyone have a set of fuel lines that run from the pump to filter for anything with a TD5 in it that they no longer need?your not stuck on the side of the road somewhere, your just too tight to pay for some new parts so are canvassing people for some second hand ones to purchase or donate, which is fair enough but not in the area you posted it which is why the moderator did his job..

as for the childish carryon stamping your feet because someone dared impose the rules i am about to deal with that.. i will not tolerate personal attacks especially when directed at someone that donates their time and efforts to help keep this place running smoothly and in a cohesive manner.

Fair enough. Sorry everyone!

I'm not stuck on the side of the road, I'm stuck in my driveway! Help by PM appreciated.
