In the next half hour or so those in the East can see - low in the west - the planets Jupiter and Venus with the waxing crescent Moon between them, see it later in SA and after sunset in WA (about 3 hours time?).
Jupiter is a bit hard to define at the moment but will become more visible in the next half hour, it's slightly higher than the Moon and about as equally spaced to the left of the Moon as Venus is to the right.
