Heading over to The Goldcoast Thursday for a Roller Derby Boot Camp for 4 days.
Will be in Ashmore and Nerang mainly. Two forecasted hardest things, getting back on the plane and not looking for work... ;/

Being a clinic, I assumed it was for the sickos amongst us!

Is Jnr going Dave or is she a bouting girl?

blacknight, what have you let him do,
i thought all was well last time i saw him..

maybe it's withdrawal symptoms from painting all that olive drab?

and, ashmore is far enough away, but you're getting a bit close at nerang.

are you flying into the gold coast?
on what? oops. ron, with whom?
maybe i might give you a wave from the tarmac.

Yeah into Coolie. Get there on the Jetspew 6:20am flight Friday morning.
I wanted to leave tonight and drive over but $169 flight beats fuel bill hands down!
I'll probably be wearing a Perth Roller Derby T shirt so if you see me idly wandering the airport, come and say hi!

Man that must be a long time ago! Back in the days when they played it full contact banked track. Banked is still around, but only in the US unfortunately.
If we had our own actual venue, there would be a big call inside the league to run banked and flat track.

Be cool to get footage of it though.

I'm heeeeeerrrrrreeeeee!!!!!!

A few years since I was last here but still love it.

Saw 2 Deefas and a nicely kitted D2 on GC Hwy leaving the airport. Think one deefa had an AULRO sticker on it but was heading the other way.

So good driving in traffic where the drivers aren't total retards!

i didn't know that but both my parents didn't drive so we had to go public transport all the way and that meant walking from South Brisbane station to Festival hall as the Merivale bridge wasnt invented as yet :o

Last day today, flying home tonight unfortunately.
Love QLD, No careless rubbish chucked from windows, people give way, merge etc etc.

Didn't really have a lot of free time outside Derby commitments but did get a chance to see a few more places during travels to a couple of skate venues.

Thanks for having me!!

Andrew
