1 million km

when my becm expired it double the km's to 733,000. when i programmed the change over unit, i changed the km's to 999,980 to see what would happen, will it go to 1,000,000 or zero with an * to show it had gone round once like a BMW? i'm afraid not much happens, the km's are now stuck at 999,999.9 the trips still work and clock up km's but not the main display. time to get it cleared and start again.

At the current rate of knots, I'll have to hang around to 2074 to see 999,999.9 which makes me 1**. Hmmm interesting thought:eek::D I'll leave a note for future generations:angel:

Just quietly......isn't it illegal to tamper with the odometer?

If so, how easy is it to do? Reason i ask is, what are vulnability of how many P38's have had this done.;)
