Changing my text colour

I had a request to change my text colour to one that doesnt bother someones eyes. Thats ok.....I can comply with anothers wishes.....if I can find the bloody place to do it now! Any clues?
I've tried.

Select User CP from menu, then Edit Options. Go to bottom of page

That's 'cos it's an accent aigu, not a circumflex which is one of these ^ above the letter - as in fête. :p
