D3 air suspension fault finding

Lost my air suspension on D3 while driving on bitumen, no warning, just initially got a red dash light, but it went to amber and has stayed that way.
We were 40k's from Marble Bar in 45c heat at the time, staked a tyre pulling off to check problem, and are still 1600k's from nearest LR service option. NOT a GOOD day.
Can somebody direct me to any links that might guide to start a
process of elimination to possibly diagnose the fault source?
I have a "faultmate" MSV2, (which I have never had previous need to use, so I'm not too clued up on it).
Have done a scan and got a long list of fault codes. Do I send the log of fault codes to Blackbox support and they let me know where to start looking?

I suggest you clear the suspension faults (if that works - maybe clear faults for all systems if need be) then turn the ignition off then on again and have a look to see what suspension faults now exist.

My MSV2 wouldn't clear 3.0 engine faults in stand-alone mode but cannot remember if I ever tried to clear suspension faults stand-alone.

Edit: If the suspension is at normal height with the amber light then just drive it.

Where are you Vbrab ? Between all us D3/D4 owners in Newman we have dealt with a plethora of suspension Faults ,and allways managed to overcome them . Send us a PM with your issues

Using the fault mate I have found that it better "clear faults" on entire vechicle rather each system.
Having done that, start engine and see if fault reoccurs. If it does then using fault mate check again for faults, select each fault and then scroll down on the display for more information on the fault.
Also check fuses, including 60 amp fuseable link. As all ready been said, it is still ok to drive if suspension is up, but don't try to lower or raise It only gets confused. Also when checking fuses, if you have to remove them, dont do what I did and put one back in the wrong place.

Vbrab there are some dodgy electrical connectors that can cause this fault to recur intermittently. Going through the same process with my D3 lately and it's a difficult fault to pinpoint assuming yours is a similar fault.

You need to check the suspension fault codes to get an idea of what's going on... the Faultmate is a tool that's worth learning if you intend to hang onto your D3 for a while.
