That's terrible, I had the pleasure of meeting him and his sister, what a wonderful man he was, one of natures gentlemen.

R.I.P Jimmy.

Jimmy Little WAS a true gentleman and will be very greatly missed by many..... including us.

We had the very great honour of spending considerable time with him, and his wonderful Grandson, James, during the Garma Festival held near Nhulunbuy in the NT, also functions we attended where Jimmy was present here in Sydney.

He was always so very giving of his experiences, his songs and music.... and his health issues. He spent a lot of his time in later years touring around Aboriginal Communities throughout Australia, promoting a healthy lifestyle (especially for the youngsters). He encouraged the kids to drink lots of water to help their kidneys.

Our son-in-law was particularly close to Jimmy and his efforts to help the Aboriginal youngsters, and helped write and produce the "Jimmy Little Water Song".

Rest in Peace dear friend. We met you only too briefly, but you, and your family made a great impression and you will be missed by so many.

Never really listened to him much until the last decade or so. A bloody marvellous australian talent. He did some great covers too.

Cattle and Cane - A Go-Betweens classic from the 80's and another ripper

Bring Yourself home to Me - original by the Jackson Code.
Love it.

From an era when you could sing Country music without an American accent.

So sad:(

Love Jimmy Little. Pioneer, unique, iconic. Sadly music like his is fast becoming extinct. At least his musical legacy will live on....
