A friend of mine (who doesnt know a lot about series rovers) is looking to buy this vehicle. Its a couple of hours away from me and I cant get to look at it for him. After looking at some photos he sent, it appears it has coil suspension and a Sigma 2.6 liter engine:eek:

Any info would be welcome. Apologies if a similar thread exists about this vehicle.

First of all I would check if it is registerable,or if it has been registered before, there used to be a coil conversion chassis available for series vehicles made by one of the UK chassis manufacturers, but I do not know if they were available in Aust, and if they were legal here.

The cut rear guards are not Aust Mil.
I would be checking if it has any military provenance or is merely another hybrid Landy with a camo paint job.

It has a census no./I.D tags but that is less of an issue to him than whether it can be readily registered.
