A week back after ages of nagging I bought the wife one of these iRobot - Roomba 530, Vacuum Cleaning Robot (http://www.roomba.com.au/roomba530.php)
She doesnt like to Vac as she is Asthmatic and it stirs it up.
Its a robotic vacuum, I was a little sus of it at first but it has some benefits and well not overly expensive on sale $360.
I have found it has about 80-90 minutes of charge then a brief period for it to finds its way home to the dock to charge, We have set it up in the center of the house and turn it on each day for to do its stuff.
It does our whole house 3B + lounge kitchen study over 2 days as I point it in the direction and let it go and separate the house by doors.
We will still have use the Dyson but now maybe once a week instead of every 2 or 3 days (2 inside cats and 1 inside dog)
You need to empty it and clean the filter every day thats the only downer so far I have found but that only takes a minute.
The model we have the 530 doesnt play well with water so we need to close the bathroom door as it will climb a 1-1.5 inch step, however there was a wet area mop version that detects tiles and cleans them as well.
So Im chuffed so far and now when I say Im lazy I really mean it......
