Hi all, just wondering if anyone had towed a large caravan with a Disco 3 with air suspension?
I've been told that the D3 with air suspension doesn't like the weight distribution hitch fitted as the air suspension doesn't react correctly?

Any thoughts????

Welcome to AULRO.COM Taffi:D
Lots of D3's towing large caravans around Oz,,
The WDH issue has been discussed at length previously,,
(I would suggest a search,,)
and yes, Land Rover say a WDH should not be used.
No doubt our caravaners will be along shortly to help;):D

Good day Taffi
We have a 25 foot caravan that weighs 3000Kg with a 290Kg ball weight. We have had no trouble towing without the WDH. We have done 1000's of Km on sealed roads and also driven to Birdsville from Windorah on unsealed roads with no problems (except a puncture). The car tows very well and feels very stable. As always, if you drive to the conditions all will be well.
Hope it helps.
Gary.
