G'day all,
I have lost low range in my 110 & have worked out it is probably the set screw on the high/low range selector fork retaining it to the shaft has come loose. I have removed the top cover on the box & found the shaft is sliding fore & aft with no load & also rotates freely.
I have found a few pictures of the fork & screw on the net but what I really need to know is will I be able to loctite & retension this screw via the lower access cover or will I need to get the box stripped to gain enough access.

Any info anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to have to rip it all apart if I don't need to.
