I recently stripped the dash to fix water leak on heater core had to remove the air bag to do so since re-installation the air bag fault light comes on:mad: any quick fixes anybody.

I take it you've double checked the connections.
Did you turn the ignition on with the airbag disconnected? It may have logged a fault if you did.
Does everything else work? Horn, cruise, radio switches?
The spiral cassette can be quite fragile so I hope that's not the problem ($$).

Did the same thing.... powered up with the airbag disconnected. Piece of insulation tape strategically placed on the dash 'glass' has fixed mine. :eek:

If it can be cleared with the Faultmate Evo unit happy for anyone to take the track up to Kinglake in Victoria and I'll reset for you :-)

That still leaves the fault message on the Message Centre and, in NSW, a rego inspection fail.
