Easter Show - Anyone been this year?

Looks like the mrs is dragging me to the eater show today! Anyone been this year and if so anything to recommended?

I don't suppose there will be anything 4wd, overland travel, LR's, photography, or Formula 1 (all my vice's) there?!?!?

Could be worse, it could be baking hot or chucking it down with rain...

Hi John ;we went to the show on the first Day :( Big mistake, we should have left it till later . but anyway , I really enjoyed the dog shows / Rodeo / Motor Cross / Circus. we didn't go for show bags but plenty of other people did :eek: I saw one lady with more that 20 show bags hanging on the handle of the Baby pram .There is plenty to see at the show. we had a ride on the Pirates Revenge :D
the rides are a bit expensive , average about 7-8 tickets . got there are 11:00 am and left at 20:00 :eek: and we weren't anticipating on staying that long;)

My advice , take plenty of water to rehydrate yourself , you'll be walking around a lot and may be a really comfy pair of shoes :cool: we also packed sandwiches , food is expensive but we still bought plenty of food and drinks there .

Last time I went to the show was when it was at Moore Park.

I would say if you like your food make sure you visit the food hall.....

Haven't been since I was a tot ... would love to get down next year to see the Camp Drafting events however!

Well I'm a convert!

Despite being a bit sceptical at first, I really enjoyed it.

The show bag thing is a waste of time and I can't be arsed with all the **** and tat that some people try selling, but overall it was very good, particularly when we bumped into some friends and then just happened to find some beer:)
