Where is the Serial Number on DiscoII T/C

Need to site the number to determine if all the gear is there to reinstate CDL, MY 2002, TD5 Auto, Regards Frank.

it is located on the lower rear face of the case, under the filler plug.

if the spigot on top is not there and being a 2002 i would say it will not be fitted.
you will need the guts and the lever/cable to have full use again. :)

If it is a 2002 model and doesn't have the lever to lock the centre, it won't have the internals, the internals were removed in July/August 2001 and then re-enstated with the lever and actuator in July/August 2002 with the introduction of the D2a update.

The build date is a good indication, have a look at your build date.

The D2 release date is 1 year after the build date in Australia.

The D2 in the UK is 1998 to 2004 this is the actual build dates

In Aust it is 1999 to 2005 these are release dates or first registered
