Just wanted to make note of 150,000K's of trouble free service to my 2006 Td5. Never missed a beat.

:p

Nor has mine, but technically its only done 86k and in order for it not to miss a beat is on its 2nd gearbox (thanks to hand-fisted LR garage in the UK), 4th clutch (hard life towing heavy trailers and big remaps take there toll!), 2nd rear diff, 2nd set of rear half-shafts & 3rd front prop shaft (1st was original).

Its also in need of a new set of shockies and a few engine oil seals.

Apart from that, like I said, never missed a beat:D

It has however always (upto last week:mad:) been reliable.

Would I have another... Hell yeh!

Yep 220k on my 02 TD5, been perfectly reliable. :)Only a slight weep from the transfer case, and the power steering.

Touch Wood it continues :wasntme:

Not really. I think every land rover I've owned I go through the following.

Excitement > Fear > Trepidation > Nervousness > Faith > Trust and then the stage I am in now, Reliance. In that I 'rely' on the vehicle to perform.
