to those who have been there,rock through my windscreen need advise please

as it says got a rock through my windscreen on the weekend. what the best way to go about replacement and where is best to get a new seal to go with it, all those who have gone before me. 95 disco it is

A 95 Disco has a bonded screen so there's no separate seal as such, just sealant/adhesive.

A good screen fitter will reuse the finishing strips around your screen.
A not-so-good fitter will say you need to get new ones.

I remember having my D1 screen replaced back in the UK. What started out as a slight chip ended up as a crack from top to bottom. Windscreen man came round and fitted a new one courtesy of the insurance company. After he had gone (about 5 minutes) I was driving to the shops when a stone was shot up from another vehicle and cracked the brand new windscreen!!!
I am sure the insurance company didn't beleive when I called them to claim for another new one.
