Magnetic filters

Hi All havent been on for a time to busy hope you are all well, anyway to my question I am fitting magnetic filters to motor,power steer and transmition motor and power steer no problems but the trans return line is unclear the manual seems to tell me the reverse of what I think it should be when looking at the box, can someone tell me dose the return line enter the bex from the side or the bottom.
