View Full Version : SLS bracket - available without buying the entire switch?

Hi all,

My right SLS bracket appears to be about to give way, and I'm wondering whether it is possible to replace just the part that's failing, which is the bracket that attaches to the trailing arm (the metal shaft appears to be separating from the cracked plastic joint), as opposed to the entire switch.

I realise I could probably make one or get it made, but I thought I'd check whether anyone knows if they are readily available.

Cheers

The SLS sensor includes the arm that attaches to the suspension trailing arm.

You would need to replace the whole unit, but they aren't outrageously expensive. The part is RQH100030. Secondhand sensors are about $35 or you can pick up new genuine parts from the UK via ebay for around $66 posted.

The sensor is fairly critical for correct operation of SLS. Slop in bushes or arms will effect the system so you'd be far better off replacing with a new unit rather than attempting to patch up your worn sensor.

Cheers Paul.

Any idea where I might get a second-hand sensor?
