Centre diff lock and traction control

I'm still learning the ins and outs of my04 td6 rangie after a lot of years in a defender, I'm just wondering if the vehicle will let you know if the centre diff lock is engaged and what engages first, the diff lock or the traction control?
Today in some mud on the farm, with just about buggered pirrellis, I gave the rangie a slight bootfull to see what it would do, it spun for a second or so, a slight mechanical click, and then it took off like it was on Tarmac! No lights on the dash, no warning message...nothing, what ever it did it was bloody good!
Can't wait to get it into some challenging tracks..

Centre diff lock on an L322 - no such thing! When the front diff flange gives up one ends up with no drive - the transfer box diff simply sends all the drive to the non connected front prop shaft!
