Quote from potential Provider after my initial enquiry and a couple of queries:

We can do a 1" lift for you, to fit all you are doing is undoing the existing body mount points jacking up the body one side at a time removing the old bolts insert the spacers and new bolts loosely tighten the nuts then lift the other side and tighten fully all the nuts both sides. steering should accommodate the lift as should the gear sticks. Brake hoses may be a little tight after the lift on the front if they run between body and axle. Brake lines usually have a coil in them where they run between body and chassis - these can be teased out to accommodate the lift. Wiring and hoses should not be affected by a 1" lift. Bumpers can be raised by drilling additional holes in the bumper brackets.

Your comments, queries, discussion appreciated before I get numbers...

Hmm, maybe. I'm not sure if I'd ever need it but......

Don't process my bushes refund just yet, Dave.

Brake lines? Thought they were attached to the chassis rails, other than where it drops down from the brake unit.

Extra angles on the steering might be too much with the 2" suspension lift I already have. Maybe not, but I'd be checking it closely Dave.

Curious about the legal issue too.

Not sure if I could put a 1" body lift in my car without carrying a ladder around for my wife and me ;)
