Gps location

Just thought I would throw this one out there,
I am thinking of upgrading my GPS to a larger screen (7") version, VMS or similar, but am a bit concerned about the larger unit blocking viewing area from the windscreen.
Has anyone got any other ideas for a mounting location?, with pictures if possible.
It obviously needs to be removable (theft Proof), secure and fit in with the standard layout, I don't want to go chopping up my dash.

I have a 5inch navman MY75T & i use the standard windscreen mount as ow as I can get it just to the left of the instrument binnacle. in this location it partially blocks my view of the LH end of the bullbar & hte bas of the cb antenna but I can live with that. No pics ATM but I hope this helps:D
