3.9 Heads on a 4.6????

Hi all,we are about to buy a 1996 p38 but she seems to have burnt valves on one bank,my question is can you fit 3.9 heads onto the 4.6 as we have a few good pairs around or is it just as easy to service the 4.6 ones provided that they are not to far gone?

If they are late heads, I think you'll find the heads are the same. Check the casting nos.
