Defenders in China

Just back from a couple of weeks visiting friends in Shanghai, & touring extensively in a 200km radius. But did not see one Defender or Series LR. Very disappointed. The closest we came was this:

This Range Rover Sport flashed past. Other than that I spied a couple of Freelander 2's & 2 Disco 3/4's. Lots of interesting old British car brands:

Good to be back home & if you think AULRO is slow here, it does not work at all in Shanghai, fine in HK though.

I know what you mean! I travel to China a lot and have only ever seen one Defender.
The reason being the massive import duties puts them far beyond most peoples budgets. I can buy 3 Range Rover Sports in Dubai for the price of one in China.

If you drive a land Rover in Shanghai...every knows you've made it big!
