The Defender is gone to a good owner in Brisbane and I will use my son Carlos disco when i have to go bush for nature photography.
I like Peugeot and in the last 30 years or so I had 504, 505 and 205 models.
This time I was looking for something special and beautiful so the 406 V6 coupe designed and built by Pininfarina was a logic choice.
Pininfarina designed many models for Peugeot stable including the 403 and the awesome coupe 504 and 404 but the 406 is the only built in their factory in Italy.
The finish (including the full Recaro interior), handling and performance it is awesome

Cheers
Arthur

Hi,
looks a bit more 'swish' than the old 203 wagon I used to drive in the 60s

cheers

I have a 406 sedan with the V6 engine. Good vehicles the 406. I've had ours for 8 years, there's a few things to watch out for but they're generally a reliable vehicle.

Certainly a stunning looking vehicle Arthur. Just the shot for next years 'Targa Tasmania' . ;) I particularly like the number plate, 'Humble' is the term that comes to mind.
The photographic opportunities be it landscape, architecture or bird life will help keep you on top of things down there, though a tad cooler than what youre used to.
I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Deano :) & Kaye.

Thank you all, now I have to look after my points in the DL. This beast go from 80kph to 130 kph in a blink of an eye :o
