After converting from SLS to coils has anyone used the SLS compressor to run in-coil airbags such as Polyairs or even rewiring it to pump up tyres?
Both these sound like good ideas to me...am I missing something that would make it no good?

I connected mine to an air tank for occasional use and as a back up (my ARB has failed twice now).

It's not a heavy duty item and won't take to constant use well.

I read in another post that it has a 5% duty cycle, which is next to useless as a compressor in the normal sense of the word. If you use it for 30 second use, it would need to be off for 9 minutes and 30 seconds to recover. As an SLS compressor this is fine (unless the bag has a hole in it) as the compressor only runs for a little period of time. Even a full height lift only takes 30 seconds to a minute.

As has been only recentlymentioned, polyairs only need a poofteenth of air to inflate. Don't think the SLS compressor is suitable. Use a bicycle pump.
