Looking around for a hi-lift mounting bracket that will fit a 5-stud Land Rover pattern. There are a few brackets on trading post, but they pretty much all exclude the Land Rover stud pattern.
Alternatively, are there any other mounting points that are better? I don't want to chuck it on my roof rack. I could slide it in under my false floor, though I was thinking of modifying the bracket so I can lock it and the wheel to the car. I don't want someone nicking off with my rim and tyre.

I have a rijidij wheel carrier, but I dunno if it will fit on it, since I'm running with 255/85's

Wayne is running 35s so your 255/85s won't be a problem

If you measure the distance from the mounting plate to the outside of your tyre when mounted on the spare wheel carrier, and give these measurements to Murray, he will be able to tell you if you need a custom mount like I did.But I think you should be ok with the standard bracket.Which is like the rest of the stuff Murray makes, which is better than any others I have seen

The standard Hi-Lift mounting bracket like this one >> Hi-Lift Mount (http://s204.photobucket.com/albums/bb102/rijidij/Wheel%20Carriers/Hi-Lift%20Jack%20Mount/Defender%20Hi-Lift%20Mount/Defender%20Prototype%20Hi-Lift%20Mount/) << will work with a 255/85/16 on a Disco rim with a 30mm offset as you can see in a couple of the pictures.
As Wayne suggests, if you have anything non-standard, just PM me the details and I'll let you know if there's any problem.
Cheers, Murray
