Anyone else had issues when fitting a BAS VNT regarding the turbo oil drain pipe not fitting?

It seems to be too wide to fit between the two halves of the turbo. Ideas?

For anyone looking at this thread in the future. The drain tube needs to be removed from the engine at the sump. Then fitted onto the turbo, then refitted onto the engine.

Don't forget to put oil into the oil tube, rotating turbo by hand, verifying oil lubricate the turbo bearing BEFOR you start your engine

I was going to pull the fuse out for the fuel pump and crank the engine, that should pump oil into the turbo without the turbo actually running as the engine is not running.

Ok, so I am somewhat right. The clearance between the two halves of the standard turbo is larger than that of the BAS VNT. Once the drain tube is removed from the engine, it can easily be fitted to the BAS VNT, but it does require to be at a bit of an angle to slip in.
