Could someone please identify this part?

The hose (top one, not red ended one) has come away from the manifold. The remainents of the black end are in the manifold and the rest of the hose is fine. There's air hissing out. Is this a brake servo hose?

Can it be superglued?



Any suggestions are welcome.

What motor is it and is there a more zoomed out picture. What does the other end of the hose go to?

That looks like a Thor (P38/D2) inlet manifold. You need to unscrew the broken bit with an easy-out, take the halves to an auto shop and find a brass airline fitting to replace it. It's not air hissing out, it's air sucking in.

you can aradlite it however its a common fitting and as bee utey suggested should be replaced with a brass or ally fitting of the same type... Dont forget to put some thread tape on it or loctite 567 to stop it growing into the housing.

It's a Thor in a D2 I'm guessing.

Pretty sure that the other end goes to the brake booster (confirm). Should be able to pull red clip, remove remnants and trim lumpy but remaining on the hose end and enough length to push back in. May need some adhesive to keep in as I think there's a matching lump inside sitting behind the red clip.

Fizzer its is a Brake vacuum hose assembly pn SQB103230 (RHD) conecting to the engine inlet manifold assembly pn LKB108140, Bee Ute I think has the best repair.... I cannot find a part number for the quick connector I think it comes with the inlet manifold.. the hose is about $12 and the inlet manifold is about $240 both ex stock from the UK
