Hi Guys.
I collected a heap of "wallpaper" for my shed yesterday.Promotional posters from the V8 Taxi Racing round at Barbagallo Raceway, even got quite a few autographed.
Anyhow, they are to be stuck to the inside walls of my shed.Last time I used a wide cellotape, now looks crap.
Any glue I can use???? Was considering sillycome.
Cheers

You can get spray can glue from craft shops, it's like contact.
or get some wallpaper glue, roll the walls and stick your posters, wallpaper is paper, so are posters.

blue tack...
The spray on contact glue is the go in my book,,, unless you want to be able to remove the poster later.

Hi Craig.
WESTRAC had all their sponsored drivers in their Marquee for an interview during their day. When they finished they signed posters. The were ALL great to listen too.
Will Davidson and David Reynolds, wasnt there for Frosty.I did get a couple of Holden ones signed too:p:p:p:p Jason Bright and Karl Riendler;););),also Jason Bright(Carrera Cup) and John Bowe (Touring Car Masters, wich wernt racing this weekend:mad::mad::mad:).You would be surprised how many teams WESTRAC sponsor. From memory they had 8 drivers listed to meet.
Bye the way,ALL 3 RACES won by ford;););).Wincup could have got 1st this arvo in the second race but went to 3rd in the last corner, behind 2 FORDS:p:p:p:p

Is tin Gary.Would need HEAPS of magnets, then the wind blows them off.
Will use a glue I think, bluetack also comes off with the wind.

Don't think I really want to think about what "thingy" he might be asking Mr Winterbottom to sign. :o
I bought some really good double sided tape the other day from Bunnings and have used to stick the microphone bracket for my UHF radio to the dash in the D4 - some tape like this might be another option.

use those super strength magnets.....neodyne or whatever they are called.....
plenty available on ebay........
or......salvage the magnets from computer HDDs.......the posters will rip but the magnets won't let go.........
whatever glue you use.....will end up leaving messy deposits if you remove the posters for any reason......
if that doesn't bother you......then a tin of contact cement and a cheap 4 inch roller should do the trick.......

If you really want to keep them for a long time, why dont you have them framed, or at least get some board to glue them to, then you can hang the frame/board with screws/nails,, that'll keep em there,, (those holden blowhards,, they'd try blow any good pic down if they get half a chance,,;))

I like the contact cement idea,a paintbrush will work, only need to glue small areas.
I wont be removing them;););) If they end up looking crappy like the ones in there now will rip them down and stick new ones up;);););)
Wont be my problem,if I eventually sell up,it would be the buyers problem if they dont like "motoring memorabilia" posters;););););)

I just collect any posters/stickers/advertising material that suits the shed.Even with an autograph I dont put a value on the poster, just looks good in the shed.
I dont mind Holden posters,Im not that one eyed, just grew up on the blue side of the fence, not the red side;);););)
Once this lot are up I will post some picks of the MESS in my shed and its wall decorations;););););)
