Hello,
While doing my air box mod I noticed that my Autobox hose to the cooler is weeping a little bit. Is there someone in Perth that repairs them or is it buy a new Land Rover one ?? Are the Generics ones as good ??

Careful, when they blow, they pump the oil out at an incredible rate!

Where in particular is it leaking? At the joins? The rubber hose section? Where it connects to the cooler?

I took mine to Enzed who modified it for me so that I could install a second automatic transmission fluid cooler. I would assume they could potentially repair them, depending on the issue.

I had the hose pop off on my TD5 earlier this year, as you might expect, its the Left Hand one that lets go, and its impossible (very hard) to get at the gearbox end as it enters the top of the auto box.

So I got Peter from the Roving Mechanical to replace it at my home. He told me this is a common repair on the D2, and he'd done 5 or 6 in the last year.

I am hoping that someone knows of a simple mod that can be done to keep it from happening again - apparently the D1 never had this problem.
Cheers
