new car time

hey all

im looking at getting a new family car. the disco i have now is great but would like a newer car

was looking at a disco 3 as i need 6 seats and the 4 is out of reach. i dont do much 4x4 just the odd camping trip and towing trailers

any recommendations would be great

You could go a D3 , or for similar coin a new or near new 7 full size seat defender110,:D as long as you garage is tall enough(2.1m) , it would also be handy if your kids are getting a bit older and you could put in airbags at rear suspension for towing. Otherwise your looking at japanese 4x4's(prado, pajero, pathie) or a people mover van(torago, delicaas long as you dont go around corners, multivan(132kw AWD to tow) ,I max, voyager).
I have an 02def 110 , 9 seater and my wife has a VW 2010 multivan 7 seater.

Don't bash this, but you can get the 2.7 in a territory now, if you don't need a proper 4wd you could have a new territory for a lot less than a disco and then you get warranty etc, but i don't know how many seats they have (i think you can get 7 but unsure). Otherwise the D3/4 is an absolutely excellent car, dad's work car is a 2.7 D4 and my grandfather has the 3.0L absolutely awesome bits of gear.
