CPU or engine issues

Hey all

Having issues with my 2002 disco v8. Was driving the other day going down hill and the engine light along with the light with the car with 2 arrows next to it. Think it's the leveler light. Anyway it went dead engine wise. So tried to start and nothing. Waited a while and then still nothing. We rolled down the hill in nuetral (auto) and it started. Then tonight took it reluctantly and in about 20mins the same thing. Waited about 20mins then it started but sounded very rough. Drove for about 5 mins then gone again. I have parked it now but anyone had the same problem or know what it is. Have to try get it to ricks

It could be the crank position sensor, but don't take my word for it.
Try the search function for crank angle sensor and see if others symptoms are similar.
I'm sure there will be someone come along soon with a much better idea than me.
