Hey guys, I've searched without finding an existing thread to tag into.
My MY05 Vogue came with a dead venturecam, no lights, not working.
I cracked it open and found the rechargeable batteries were kaput.
I was able to source some new batteries and solder them up in the same sequence, bingo, Venturecam - working and charging.
Just wanting to encourage others to do the same if they're interested in getting theirs working. Better than buying a new one from LR for $750.....
If you're not DIY inclined, PM me.

I've heard that turning all Bluetooth devices off, and then leaving the car with the key out for 10mins, will reset a few things and allow you to have another crack.
But Im no expert so hopefully someone else can help if this doesnt work.

Hi Folks and has anybody actually use their venturcam.
I’ve used mine 3 or 4 times at most and I just can’t see any use for it.

I do know what you mean, the 20kmh limit is very restricting apart from very slow 4wding .
I'd love an easy method to turn of the limiter.
Ill use mine as a reversing camera from time to time, just need to mount it...
Anyone who doesn't use theirs Keen to sell me the suction cap holder?
Guys overseas use them for looking into horse floats etc

Did the same in mine, batteries inside were cactus so I cracked it open and replaced them with new ones from Jaycar, cost about $12.
It really should be renamed GimickCam, I will be willing to bet that 99.9% of them have never left their dock more than about twice in their life.
There is a process for re-pairing the cam back to the car, pretty sure it's in the owners manual.
Cheers,
Al

Totally agree and I might take mine out and see if it still works

Can anyone tell me how to undo the tiny electronic connectors inside a venturecam?
