300TDI Lash Caps

Hi All,

Repairing damage done by a slipped timing belt. Have used All Make brand replacement lash caps, they have about double the amount of movement on top of valve than the OEM lash caps. They feel like a fairly loose fit.

Should I re-use the old ones or use new ones and not worry too much?

Did you number the old caps so as you can replace them from where they came from, if not I would use new caps, Regards Frank.

No I didn't number them:angel:. Didn't even think of it because I was ordering new ones.

I'll run with the new caps.
