It's a big investment ... buying tyres. After you've made the decision on brand and size ... Which companies (tyre king, jax etc) do you trust to keep your tyres balanced and aligned to get the best wear?

I recently got a puncture in one of my Pirellis and had Jax repair it for me. Only cost $15 as I'm a 'gold' member there.

can't give you a recommendation in nsw, but whoever does it make sure they align it to 0 - 2 mm total toe out.
almost all wheel align machine onboard spec sheets for lr are wrong. they say toe in, where it should be the opposite.
i am continually correcting their mistakes:(

If you're in Sydney, Blaires tyres are good, we have always used them (Peakhurst) they've got a few outlets around Sydney, but Russell who runs the one at Peakhurst is a good bloke, and he is a bit of a Landy man aswell

I think you have to pick your shop rather than picking a company.
In Sydney there have been 2 standout companys (in a good way) for me
Brooks Tyres in Parramatta
ACE Tyres in Smithfield.

Brooks are close to me ... why have they been a standout Slunnie?

If they can do variation balancing it helps.. I have no weights on three of my tyres and they are 50,000km old I do a five way rotation every 10,000km.
They are wearing very evenly... I get them balanced at tyrepower in West Perth.

Because the staff there are old school. They are absolutely genuine with service, nothing is a problem.
If you roll up with a trailer of tyres they want to load/unload so you dont get dirty,
They greet you as soon as you turn up.
They take time to do things properly - eg puncture repairs they will strip the tyre and patch and then layer it with the black stuff, they will bother to lube up or to put sealant on the bead if needed.
When the charge so often at the workshop they will give you a price and then inside at the registers they will say, nah that sounds expensive, how bout we do it for this price <Insert cheaper price>
They are the epitome of an old school establishment and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
