What am I doing wrong?

it should work fine, did on my wifes htc. maybe download tapatalk from markets, seems to work well on iPhone. :)

I've never been able to logon with this Samsung Galaxy SII when using it direct from telstra and also now using WiFi from my router.

the android markets have gone, there should be an icon called 'google play' or 'play' do a search for forumrunner

or download it on your computer & you should be able to install it on your phone from the computer if you have a google account.
