With the upcoming camping trip with the LRE club, and knowing my wife's distaste for the cold we bought some thermals online from Hikenbiker merino : pure merino clothing for adventure sports, travel and everyday (http://www.hikenbiker.com/) based in Katoomba. After seeing my wife's I was very impressed and i also bought a shirt.

They are made from NZ and/or Australian sourced Merino wool. Good Australian company with very prompt service, so thought they deserved a plug.

I haven't got any of this Merino gear, but it looks similar to Ice Breaker from NZ.

The best bit is it looks like it is made in Australia?

I have spent 10 days in the same Ice Breaker clothes and not smelt too bad!

Yeah mate all Australian made I believe, and the price is reasonable.

Best bit of kit I have is my silk undies  I have a silk T shirt and silk long johns (given as a present by the MIL :o ). They keep you very warm and are not bulky at all.

Well you don't need warm underwear in Qld. so why are you wearing silk knickers, big boy? (Flutter, flutter):D:eek:
