Found this today, A group that creates new Lego toys and if their ideas reach 10,000 Votes, Lego will put them into production.

Check out the link to see this working beauty, it even has a gearbox, clutch, transfer case, disc brakes amazing! all built from genuine lego parts!

He provides a link to the builders web site which allows people to vote to encourage lego to make and sell a kit for it. He needs 10,000 supporters for it to be considered for production - he is up to ~2700.

he hasn't made the plans available yet, but you can be sure I will build it with my boys sometime - we have a lot of the parts already as they are right into their NXT and power functions lego...

I'm trying to work out how he does the functional disc brakes ...

I recon that LR Australia could take a few of the ideas and put them to work,
1: What no oil leaks
2: quick release body
3: No rust in the doors
Im sold on it, when is the expected release date ? :D
